  • Assessments for children aged 8 to 15 conducted at Rachel's home in Brentford or your own home if local

Includes:

  • Comprehensive assessment session

  • Detailed written report with recommendations

  • 30-minute follow-up telephone call if required

Cost: £550

Payment Details:

  • Deposit: £100 upon booking

  • Balance: £450 due two days before the assessment

The Assessment Process

  1. Initial Consultation:

    • Telephone call to determine suitability

  2. Questionnaires:

    • Parent questionnaire about developmental history and current situation

    • Visual difficulties questionnaire

    • School questionnaire emailed directly to teachers for completion

  3. Preparation:

    • Recent standard eye test carried out within the last two years

    • Submission of any prior reports from specialist assessments or professionals, such as speech and language therapists, occupational therapists or educational psychologists

  4. The Assessment Session:

    • Lasts up to 3 hours with breaks

    • Involves standardised tests in reading, writing, spelling, and handwriting, cognitive, verbal and visual skills

  5. Post-Assessment:

    • Comprehensive written report within three weeks

    • Includes strengths, challenges, and tailored recommendations

    • Follow-up telephone consultation available
